Traditional Pocket Knives
Classic lines, jigged bone and blades that remember where they came from: shop traditional pocket knives and slip joints — trappers, stockmen, barlows, peanuts and jacks from Case and other heritage makers.
Slip-joint knives carry easily almost everywhere, open with the familiar nail nick, and age beautifully with honest use. Handle materials run from bone and stag to smooth synthetics, with carbon steel blades that take a wicked edge or stainless for easy care.
Which traditional pattern suits you?
The trapper's two long blades suit hunters and daily cutters; the stockman adds a sheepsfoot for utility work; the barlow is the hard-wearing pocket classic; and the peanut proves small knives do most jobs. Many collectors, of course, answer 'all of them' — one pattern at a time.
